Here's how to enroll in direct deposit:

Log in to your account, go to “Money In,” and then “Direct Deposit” to view your account & routing numbers.

Use & print the form on the “Direct Deposit” screen and give to your employer or use your account & routing numbers to enroll directly with your employer.

FAQs

How do I set up direct deposit?

Get your paycheck up to 2 days faster when you sign up for direct deposit1. Just make sure that:

  • Your spendwell account is active.
  • Your employer or payroll department offers direct deposit.
  • Your direct deposit comes from a U.S. bank account.
  • For Federal tax refunds via direct deposit, the information on your refund, including your Social Security Number, must match the information we have on file. If you are filing jointly, please make sure that your Social Security Number is listed first on your Tax Return. Please note that there is a limit of two tax refunds per calendar year per spendwell account.

 

To set up Direct Deposit, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your spendwell account and go to Money In.
  2. Select direct deposit to view your spendwell account number and bank routing number.
  3. Print out and complete the spendwell Direct Deposit Form and submit it to your employer or benefits provide to process the request. Certain employers may require you to use their own form or process. It may take one or two pay periods before your direct deposit will take effect.

Where can I view my Account and Routing Numbers?

Your account number and routing number are easily accessible via the My Profile section of your online account.

 

  1. Log in to your spendwell account and go to My Profile.
  2. You will see Account Number and Routing Number listed under the Account Information section.

Can Direct Deposit be set up for Federal payments?

Yes, direct deposit can be set up for Federal payments. For example, the payment can be a tax refund, Social Security payment, SSI payment, civil service retirement payment, VA compensation/pension, Worker's Compensation, or a Federal Employee payroll deposit. Please use the spendwell account number and bank routing number found on the spendwell Direct Deposit Form.

 

How long do Direct Deposits take?

You can get your paycheck up to 2 days before payday.1 You can access your money as soon as the funds are electronically added to your account. It may take up to two pay cycles after you enroll for your direct deposit to begin.
